| With "Pray For Sun" & "Surfin' Chinese" already released as a single on Lovers Leap, and with some 8 track demos of some of the other tracks, Robin Wills secured a deal for The Surfin' Lungs with French label "Surfin' Bird" for a mini-album and rushed then in to Alvic in West Kensington to record the remainder of the tracks. When this deal fell through, the album was picked up by Big Beat Records, then the undisputed No.1 British label for 60's garage music. |
