After The Surfin' Lungs played at the Positiv Mond Festival in Bern, Switzerland in 1988, Dani Bossard, who runs the Swiss label and Jan & Dean Fanzine, "Surfin' Again", got the idea to license all the existing Lungs releases, plus the then unreleased "Let 'Em Eat Surf!" for this CD, as some of the tracks were difficult to find. "Mickey's Car" and "Yesterday's Summer" were direct from vinyl, the master tapes having been long lost!
